Musonda Solomon, a native of Ikeleng’i District in Chief Chiefdom current works as Lead Product Design Engineer for one of the big three automakers in Detroit, Michigan. He was quick to mention that, “This Patent is an independent one from the organization that I work for, and I have been recognised in my personal capacity.” Other than being an Electrical Engineer from Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan, he also holds an ACCA Certification from ZCAS, in Zambia.

Asked why he set aside his accounting profession for engineering, he said, “I think engineering is my true calling while accounting was a stop-gap measure which helped me raise funds to accomplish something I truly love to do.” If he is not working in Asia or Europe, Musonda always finds time from his busy schedule to enjoy some private time with his family, especially his daughter whom he calls the apple of his eye.
