Zambia has recently witnessed an evolution in the manufacturing industry.
Various businesses and entrepreneurs have turned to innovation to meet the market demand of various products.
The increase in demand for locally produced products has pushed local businesses to create and establish markets in retail stores across the country.
Due to economic effects and the Kwacha depreciation against major trading currencies there has been a sudden increase on all imported goods, vegetables fruits and oils.
It is evident the country needs to invest more in local raw material production like packaging material and other micro ingredients to reduce on the current cost of locally the manufactured goods.
On a positive side it is encouraging to witness businesses evolution in our country during this time.
