Beekeepers around Ndake Community Conservation Area (CCA) are seeing the sweet success of beekeeping from their 150 beehives are hanged.
The farmers in Ndake, and other communities where COMACO has a presence, are seeing the real benefit of taking an active role in the conservation of forests through the preventive measures contained within their Community Conservation Plan or CCP.
COMACO purchased 872kgs of comb honey from the Ndake cooperatives, one of the many communities that do beekeeping.
The honey will later be transported to our Nyimba plant where it’s processed and packaged as
It’s Wild
! pure honey.
