As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, AFRICAB operates a free food distribution campaign  and has been in operation since 2020 with the aim to offer free food to the less privileged people in the community of Chilanga District in Zambia.
In a statement made available to Zambia Inc the corporate communications manager indicated that
currently, the CSR Programme is feeding over 200 people in the community and still reaching out to
many other less privileged families .
“Over the years, many families in the community have been struggling due to various challenges which were also worsened by the COVID pandemic, the rates of malnutrition in children also raised a Hugh concern , so the CSR Program run by AFRICAB will alleviate hunger levels through better nutrition for a more productive community” 
The AFRICAB CSR programme is duly recognized and appreciated by the United Nations (UN) under
IIMSAM to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for the decade 2020 to 2030 with the Goal of Zero Hunger.
Furthermore, the AFRICAB CSR program opts to elevate academic support with the provision of school essentials to various schools. This will improve, support and promote Education levels in society.
With support from the Chilanga District Commissioner, Mr. David Sheleni who visited the premises of AFRICAB and participated in the CSR Programme. He stated the positive outcome of the ongoing programme and applauded the initiative by the AFRICAB Directors, encouraging many other companies in the district to help the community and the country at large.
AFRICAB wishes to encourage the community and society to help Zambia achieve Zero Hunger.
